Sun Comfort, Inc. was incorporated in 1990 by Alan Baumgartner and Keith Bailey and have been proudly serving our customers with all their home improvement and remodeling needs for the past 20 years. We maintain a strong reputation in our community and pride ourselves on providing quality craftsmanship and the highest level of service to our customers.
When Alan and Keith decided to join forces over 20 years ago, their pledge was to always be in absolute service of their customers and to always stand by their work.
Alan and Keith had over 40 years of combined experience in the industry when they started Sun Comfort, Inc. Alan started out in the industry as one of the oldest window fabricator’s in the state of WV. His expertise in windows along with his business savvy provided a steady sensible approach to the upstart business. Alan was a graduate of WV Tech with an engineering degree. He was also one of the first innovators to introduce argon gas between the two pieces of glass in an insulated glass unit, giving the glass a better insulation factor. Keith on the other hand started in a completely different way. His first experience in the industry was working as a laborer with his grandfather and uncle helping to remodel his uncle’s home. He developed a passion for the business and became a master of his trade. When you combine that with his hard work and dedication, he had everything necessary to provide the best level of service to his customers.
Both Alan and Keith ran the corporation until sadly Alan passed away. Keith continues to run Sun Comfort with the same level of commitment and lives by the pledge they made over 20 years ago. Sun Comfort continues to be a leader in home improvement in the great state of West Virginia.
